Off-Campus Recruitment 2014 - EMC hiring Freshers as Associate Consultant

Qualification :
  • B.E/ B.Tech - ( CS/ IT/ IS) 2014 Batch candidates from a premier institute with an aggregate of 60% and above throughout academics.
Job Description : 
  • Will be responsible to design, develop and implement medium/large complex applications on Cloud platforms.
  • Should have good back ground of J2EE technologies.
  • Should be able to anticipate the problems upfront and propose a feasible solution. Any migration experience from legacy systems to Cloud platform would be a big plus.
  • Work with the global distributed teams to execute projects and practice initiatives.
  • Communicate with the Architect/managers on the progress of the project/initiatives. Escalate any issues/constraints hindering the project progress on time.
  • Should be well versed with the various SDLC methodologies and processes.
  • Adhere to the standards and guidelines defined for the project. Basic processes such as code review, unit testing etc. needs to be performed on the developed solution.
Skills Required :
  • Strong Experience in designing and developing Core JAVA/J2EE applications
  • Experience developing Java apps with Spring Data, REST APIs and Spring MVC
  • Working knowledge of spring integration, Spring AMQP, Rabbit MQ and in memory databases.
  • Working knowledge of distributed caching or data grid products like GemFire, Coherence, Terracotta, Gigaspaces, memcache, Ehcache (at least one of the product)
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Application development experience on cloud based platform such as Amazon,  Cloud Foundry, Google App, Force.Com etc. (at the minimum one platform)
  • Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting
  • Experience with Hibernate, JPA, JUnit, XML, ANT scripts
  • Experience with Web servers like Apache, Tomcat etc.
  • Experience using Oracle, SQL, shell scripts
  • Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting and resolution skills
  • Should be able to anticipate and resolve the technical issues and propose a feasible solution keeping the business objective of the project.
  • Should lead a team and act as a mentor for all the junior team members and guide them technically.
  • Good communication skills, keen to share knowledge and best practices
  • A strong understanding of various SDLC models
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative setting
  • Ability to review project technical documents and provide input as required
